Sophia Grace Brownlee is a British actress, singer, and TV personality who became popular overnight when a YouTube video of her performing a cover version of Nicki Minaj’s song “Super Bass” went viral. Eight-year-old Sophia can be seen singing in the video, while her cousin, five-year-old Rosie Grace McClelland, is dancing beside her. The two girls appeared on ‘The Ellen Show’ within a month of posting the video on YouTube and soon became regular guests of the show.
Three singles along with music videos have been released by Sophia since then. The first single that also featured her cousin Rosie was “Girls Just Gotta Have Fun”. She made it to the “Best Friends” chart with her second song, “Billboard Hot 100” She released her third single, Girl In The Mirror, featuring Silentó, in June 2016. She has signed an agreement with Capitol Records France and will release a full album on her own in 2016.

It all started with a woman from Essex making her nieces a video and uploading it on YouTube. The video featured Sophia performing the Nicki Minaj album Super Bass, all dressed in pink tutus and tiaras, with her cousin Rosie.
