Naomi Scott was born Naomi Grace Scott, on May 6, 1993, at the town of Hounslow in London, England, to a Gujarati Indian mother, Usha Scott (née Joshi), and a British father, Christopher Scott. Her mother was born in Uganda and then immigrated to England at a young age. Naomi’s parents are pastors in the ‘Bridge Church’ at Woodford, London. She has an elder brother named Joshua.

Naomi has engaged in missionary work and outreach activities. She has attended the Loughton-based Christian ecumenical secondary school called the ‘Davenant Foundation School.’ While in college, she frequently performed in musical and drama productions. Career
