Timothee Chalamet was born on 25 December 1995 in Manhattan, New York , United States. His early schooling was completed from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. His dad’s name is Marc Chalamet and he’s an editor for the UNICEF. His mum’s name is Nicole Flender (a real estate agent at The Corcoran Group).He has an older sister called Pauline who’s a French actor and lives in Paris.
He’s half-French from his dad’s side and half-American Jewish from his mother’s side. Filmmaker Rodman Flender is his maternal uncle, television producer and writer Amy Lippman is his aunt, and late screenwriter Harold Flender was his maternal grandfather.
While in high school, he had been accepted into Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, which spurred his interest in acting at a young age. His portrayal of a young Shanley, a misfit Bronx child in a prestigious New Hampshire prep school set in 1963, earned rave reviews from critics and won him several awards and nominations.
