Stephen Curry was born on March 14, 1988, Akron, Ohio. Currently, he is 33 years old. His father was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, where his father played for the Charlotte Hornets for the majority of his NBA career. Curry and his younger brother Seth would regularly follow Dell to his games, where they would fire with the Hornets during warm-ups.
His career as a member of the Toronto Raptors, and the family temporarily moved to Toronto. Curry was a member of the Queensway Christian College boys’ basketball team at the time, and he helped them to an unbeaten season. He was also a part of Toronto 5–0, an Ontario-based club team that matched him up against future NBA stars Cory Joseph and Kelly Olynyk. Curry guided the team to a 33–4 record and the provincial title.
Curry enrolled at Charlotte Christian School after Dell’s retirement, where he was voted all-conference and all-state and led his team to three conference championships and three state playoff appearances.
