PLEDIS Entertainment formed the South Korean boy band Seventeen (Korean: ; also stylized as SVT). S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon (hip hop sub-unit), Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan (vocal sub-unit), Hoshi, Jun, The8, and Dino are the initial members of Seventeen (performance sub-unit).
The group Seventeen is made up of thirteen members who were born between 1995 and 1999. Because the original 13 members + 3 sub-units + 1 group Equals 17, the group is nicknamed Seventeen. Seventeen has a number of international members. Joshua Hong (from Los Angeles) and Hansol Vernon Chwe (from Taiwan) are the two American members (from New York). Career
Before being re-released as a deluxe version a few months later, it reached number five on the Heatseekers chart and number three on the World Albums chart. The group’s debut tour, which included dates in Asia and North America, was backed by the group’s chart-topping six-track album. They ended 2017 with the publication of their sophomore full-length Teen, Age, which was re-released as Director’s Cut in early 2018. We Make You, their Japanese debut, was released in May. With the EP You Make My Day, which was instantly certified platinum, Seventeen won their seventh number one record later that summer. An Ode, the group’s third full-length album, was released the following year.
