Ratan Tata, also known as Ratan Naval Tata, (born December 28, 1937, in Mumbai, India), is an Indian businessman who became director (1991–2012 and 2016–17) of the Tata Group, a Mumbai-based organization. When he was ten, he got isolated and from that point, he and his sibling were raised by his grandma, Navajbai Tata.

In 1962, he started his career as a mining worker in his own firm. This job was stunning and challenging for him as it required a lot of workforces to do. After the JRD Tata in 1991, he was elected as the Chairman of Tata Sons.
