Ram Charan grew up mostly in his youth in Chennai. He graduated from Chennai basic school and from Ooty high school. The actor has studied in as many as 8 schools and hasn’t been in any of them for over two years. He was really unfriendly at his school days and also had a below average student who barely received 40-50 percent marks in his exams.
This is an incident from the early life of Ram Charan. In his own words: I couldn’t concentrate on studies when I was 20. My mother was really concerned and took me to a person I spent over an hour with. From that day on, my life changed. He’s just my uncle – Star of Power, Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan Kalyan advised him the necessity of hard work and the need of keeping his parents’ excellent name high. He pursued his studies effectively and built a career, inspired by his comments. Since that day, he has never looked back in personal life too.
Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s dad Ram Charan is one of the living instances of how hard work and dedication pays off. He ascended from being a little actor to become his generation’s supreme celebrity hero. Nagendra Babu, one of Ram Charan’s uncles, is a producer and a performer. Together with his elder brother Chiranjeevi, Nagendra Babu has created Anjana Productions and made films since 1988.

Her work for Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi Film No. 150 has been applauded. Kalyan Dhev, who made his acting debut with Vijetha, married younger sister Sreeja.

Ram Charan married Upasana Kamineni, Apollo Charity’s deputy chairman and B Positive’s editor. For a long time, Ram Charan has known Upasana. But it was only after Magadheera’s release that he started dating her. Upasana is one of Andhra Pradesh’s renowned business families. Her grandpa is the chairman and co-founder of Apollo Hospitals, Dr. Prathap C. Reddy. She is a regent university graduate, London, UK. Her mother, Shobana Kamineni, is Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited’s executive vice president, Anil Kamineni is her father.
On 1 December 2011, Ram Charan and Upasana became engaged. In the presence of his family they said their marriage vows, close and dear, and some of the greatest celebrities participated in the Temple trees farm house on 14 June. He gave his admirers a special reception. “We just don’t invite my fans,” the Mega Power Star stated.
In Ram Charan’s own words, after the marriage Upasana put her foot down and said that the pair would stay with Ram Charan’s family. Ram Charan is commonly considered a brat after his marriage to Upasana, who has a soothing influence on the lead hero. Ram Charan and Upasana are a family member who maintains a tight contact with his parents and siblings, and provide couples objectives.
In 2007 Ram Charan made his debut with the star director Puri Jagannadh’s movie Chirutha. The film, released on 28 September 2007, was an all-rounder of an actor for Ram Charan. Although it’s a conventional narrative, the movie was usually highly reviewed. The bass tone of Ram Charan, the raw aesthetic and easy dancing routines are commented on positively. Neha Sharma was the film’s lead woman.
But Ram Charan was the next film which really became the actual Scion of the Mega family. The Rajamouli Magadheera directorial was the prelude of many of the major events that took place. The romantic entertainment combined the Chandamama style of the storey with a modern love storey. It is the reincarnation of the main characters that bridge them. In both parts, Ram Charan excelled Kala Bhairava from an Udaygadh Kingdom warrior, and a modern young girl who likes to take on the difficulties of Harsha.
Ram Charan studied horse riding and advanced his skills in dance to the next level, not to forget about his presence in flashback episodes. Magadheera became by a considerable margin the highest gross film ever in Telugu and still remains one after all these years. Kajal Aggarwal was the film’s heroine.
Then his third film he tried. In the avant-garde romantic love storey, Orange in 2010, he portrayed the role of an over-cool young man called Ram. Genelia D’Souza was the film’s heroine, while Shazahn Padamsee played an essential role. The film that speaks of what true love is and is the narrative of a man who doesn’t believe in the permanence of love, whatever other people say it is. It was led by Bhaskar of the renown of Bommarillu.
Orange was in the middle of strong expectations, which became the largest hit in the industry and the old record for Bhaskar. Sadly, the film could not set fire to the box office. But it established a sort of cult throughout the years, and several commentators commented on it ahead of time.
Ram Charan played it safe for his next film. The 2012 Sampath Nandi directorial Racha was supported by industry stalwarts Paruchuri Brothers and brought financial success to the script department. Mass avatar of Ram Charan as Betting Raju earned in his heydays similarities to Chiranjeevi. The movie was commented as a tribute to Chiranjeevi’s flicks and mass cinema in general around the beginning of the 1990s. Tamannaah Bhatia is the film’s heroine. The film cleared the path for him to bring together comparable mass entertainers with a lot of action.
In 2013 Ram Charan appeared in two movies, including his debut with Zanjeer in Bollywood. Naayak was the first film to be released that year by V. V. Vinayak. Naayak became a typical Vinayak action entertainer with moderately positive reviews. As the female leads, Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul accompanied him. This is the second combo of Kajal and Ram Charan after the extremely successful Magadheera. For the first time, Naayak saw him in a true dual role.
Zanjeer struck the screens with enormous anticipation as he saw the major solo lead in a Bollywood movie. The Telugu counterpart Thoofan was made with a somewhat different cast at the same time. Priyanka Chopra portrayed the lead of the women and this movie remains her sole Telugu movie till now. The critics at his release slammed Zanjeer nationally, led by Apoorva Lakhia.
Ram Charan took up Vijay Khanna’s legendary role played by Amitabh Bachchan in the original film of 1973. Sanjay Dutt took over the role of Shere Khan immortalised in Telugu by Pran and Srihari. Interestingly enough, Ram Charan and Srihari played pals in Magadheera, too; Shere Khan is one of Srihari’s characters in Magadheera.
Ram Charan returned to his elements in 2014 with a successful Yevadu who saw him share the screen with a sty
lish Mega Hero Star, Allu Arjun. The directorial Vamshi Paidipally had him play a youth whose face transformed following an operation. The two-shade figure was nailed by Ram Charan’s customary exuberance, which established him in the field of commercial movies.
