Rahat Indori Wiki/Bio
Rahat Indori was Born on January 1, 1950 in Indore Madhya Pradesh. His father named Rafatullah Qureshi was a fabric mill employee, and his mom Maqbool Un Nisa Begum was a housewife. He had been born to Rafatullah Qureshi and Maqbool Un Nisa Begum. He has two elder sisters called Taqreeb and Tehzib. He’s an elder brother called Aquil and a younger brother named Adil. He’s been married twice. He married Seema Rahat on 27th May 1986. Together the couple had a daughter called Shibil and two sons named Faisal and Satlaj Rahat. Then he married Anjum Rehbar. After few years of their marriage they also separated.
Rahat Indori did his schooling from Nutan School Indore from where he completed his Higher Secondary. He finished his graduation from Islamia Karimia College Indore. He passed his MA in Urdu literature from Barkatullah University, Bhopal in the year 1975. He was awarded a PhD in Urdu literature from the Bhoj University of Madhya Pradesh in 1985 for his thesis titled Urdu Main Mushaira.
Career
He began teaching Urdu literature in IK College, Indore. According to his pupils he was the best lecturer at the school. In between he became really busy with Mushairas and began receiving invitations from all around India and abroad. He became highly popular with the masses as well the courses together with his ability, hard work and a characteristic manner of delivering Ashaar. He’s recited his poetry in 100+ cities of Canada, USA, Germany, Pakistan, England, Middle East, Nepal and Bangladesh among others
He’s also earned a name for himself at the Bollywood in addition to a lyricist. He’s written some of the most famous songs of Bollywood such as Khat likhna humein khat likhna, M bole to master, Chori Chori Jab Nazrein Mili, Neend Churayee Meri, and Koi jaye to le aye among others. In his illustrious career, he has conferred with many awards.
