Nadine Coyle Wiki/Bio

Coyle’s parents, Lillian and Niall Coyle welcomed him into the world on June 15, 1985, in Derry, Northern Ireland. The Drifters’ “Saturday Night at the Movies” was the first song she sang that her parents recognized she had a flair for singing when she was two years old. Though she was disinterested in her education, Coyle achieved satisfactory results.

This was followed by the recording of a demo CD, which was given to Louis Walsh and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Cover versions of the songs “Fields of Gold,” “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Love Is,” and the aria “Summertime” were included on the CD.

As a member of the girl group Girls Aloud, Coyle has been successful in achieving a string of 20 consecutive UK Top Ten singles (including four number ones), two UK Number One albums, five consecutive platinum-selling studio albums, as well as nominations for five BRIT Awards (winning the Best Single award in 2009 for “The Promise”), as well as nominations for five BRIT Awards (winning the Best Single award in 2009 for “The Promise”).

Coyle launched her debut solo album, Insatiable, on November 8, 2010, with the title track being the first single to be released on her own label, Black Pen Records, in collaboration with grocery giant Tesco. In late 2017, she signed with Virgin EMI Records and released her new single, “Go to Work.” The single peaked at number 57 on the Official Singles Sales Chart and at number 52 on the Scottish Singles Chart, according to the official charts.

Coyle launched her Nadine EP the following year, which peaked at number one on the iTunes chart. “Fool for Love” was her first song, which was released in 2019 under the Xenomania label. “All That I Know” was released in 2020, and it reached number 62 on the Official UK Charts upon its initial release.

When Coyle was 17 years old, she discovered a lump in her breast that turned out to be cancer. Coyle relocated from Northern Ireland to Los Angeles, California, in 2006, and has been there since. As a result, she found herself regularly commuting between the United States and the United Kingdom for her projects with Girls Aloud and as a solo artist.

While living in Los Angeles, Coyle launched Nadine’s Irish Mist, an Irish bar-restaurant in Sunset Beach, California, in 2008 as a family business, allowing family members to live close by and assist her in the operation of the establishment.

According to the 2013 edition of the Sunday Times Rich List, her estimated net worth was £6 million at the time. Coyle revealed her pregnancy on her Instagram account on August 15, 2013, informing her followers that she was expecting a kid. She also stated that she would be reuniting with her ex-fiancé Jason Bell, who happens to be the father of her kid. Their daughter, Anaya Bell, was born on February 10, 2014, and she is the couple’s first child.

The year 2015 marked the closure of Nadine’s Irish Mist, which had been open for nine years in Los Angeles. Coyle then returned to Northern Ireland to care for her daughter Anaya. A spokesperson for her revealed that she had decided to close the restaurant because the business had taken a toll on her overworked family members and because she had become tired of being approached by film and television makers who wanted to utilize the restaurant as a location for their projects.

She also mentioned that she was beginning to miss her family and friends in Northern Ireland while she was living in Los Angeles. In 2001, while still a student at Thornhill College, Coyle auditioned for the Irish version of the reality television talent program Popstars, on which Louis Walsh served as a judge. Coyle was unsuccessful. While she was first accepted into the band Six, it was later discovered that she had lied about her age.

In fact, she was only 16 years old, making her two years younger than the legal minimum age of 18. Coyle said that she had been “exploited” by RTÉ. She returned to Thornhill College in Derry to complete her education. The second British series of the international Popstars franchise, Popstars: The Rivals, was created by Walsh to urge Coyle to participate.

The purpose of the series was to produce two winning pop groups – a boy band and a girl group, each consisting of five members – who would then compete in “a battle of the sexes” for the Christmas number one spot on the UK Singles Chart. The series aired on ITV in the United Kingdom. Several thousand hopefuls turned out for auditions all throughout the United Kingdom in the hopes of getting chosen.

The judges, Walsh, Pete Waterman, and Geri Halliwell, chose ten girls and ten boys to be the finalist in each category. These finalists then came to the stage for live performances on Saturday nights, which took place once a week (alternating weekly between the girls and boys). Following the conclusion of her performance “Walsh told her that she had given the “performance of the night” during “Fields of Gold.”

As part of the new girl group Girls Aloud, Coyle was joined by Cheryl Tweedy, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh, who were all discovered through the television show and created by a popular vote on November 30, 2002. Their debut track, “Sound of the Underground,” landed at number one on the UK Singles Chart and went on to become the holiday season’s top song of that year.

Girls Aloud hold the record for the shortest time span between formation and achieving number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The group’s debut album, Sound of the Underground, was released in May 2003 and peaked at number two on the UK album charts before being certified platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) later that year

Career

Their tracks “I’ll Stand by You,” “Walk This Way,” and “The Promise” have all peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Two of their albums have reached the top of the UK Albums Chart: their greatest hits collection The Sound of Girls Aloud and 2008’s Out of Control, both of which debuted at the top of the chart after selling more than one million copies of the former.

In addition, they have seven certified albums to their credit and have been nominated for five Brit Awards, with “The Promise” winning the Best Single award in 2009. Even though the group’s primary musical style is pop, they have also experimented with electropop and dance-pop during their career. In part, this was due to the trio’s work with Brian Higgins and his songwriting and production team Xenomania, which garnered the group widespread recognition for their creative approach to mainstream pop music.

The trio went on to become one of the few reality television performers in the United Kingdom to maintain their popularity, collecting a wealth of £30 million by May 2010. In the 2007 edition of Guinness World Records, they are recognized as the “Most Successful Reality-TV Group.”

Also in the 2008 edition, they were awarded the title of “Most Consecutive Top Ten Entries in the United Kingdom by a Female Group,” and in the 2011 edition, they were rewarded with the title of “Most Successful Reality-TV Group.”

Additionally, the group was named the best-selling girl group of the twenty-first century in the United Kingdom, with more than 4.3 million singles and 4 million albums sold in the United Kingdom alone. In 2009, the members of Girls Aloud agreed to take a break from the group to work on solo projects.

In the same year, Coyle collaborated with Boyz II Men on their album Love, recording a cover version of the Take That song “Back for Good,” which was ultimately omitted from the final tracklisting due to time constraints. Coyle has also collaborated with Jay Sean, albeit the duo’s collaboration was ultimately canceled. Girls Aloud frontwoman Coyle has stated that she will record a solo album during the band’s sabbatical.

Early reports indicated that Coyle was being courted by three big record labels: Columbia, Sony, and Warner Bros. It was reported in April 2010 that she had signed a recording contract with Geffen Records. Later on, the transaction fell through. Coyle formally inked a contract with the new record label of grocery store chain Tesco in August 2010, and the album was released through her own Black Pen Records imprint in September 2010.

During the recording process, she collaborated with a variety of well-known songwriters and producers, including Desmond Child, Guy Chambers, Mike Elizondo, Steve Booker, Toby Gad, Tony Kanal, and newcomer Ricci Riccardi, among others. An interview with Booker revealed that Coyle had created musical ideas in GarageBand, which she subsequently brought to Booker in England so that they could continue to develop them together in their home country.

“She was singing her songs to loops, and then I took the loops out and completely recreated the music from scratch to match her ideas,” the producer explained. He described her tunes as being “extremely pop-oriented.” As a result, Booker worked on tracks that would allow Coyle to showcase her vocals: “Because she’s got such a belting voice, I tried a few of things where she could really sing,” he explained.

The album was preceded by the publication of her debut single, the title track “Insatiable,” which served as a prelude to the release of the album. The song, which was co-written with Guy Chambers and produced by Ricci Riccardi, has an “80s feel” to it as well as “a harsher, guitar-led sound.” A high position of number 26 on the UK Singles Chart was achieved by this track.

After ten years apart, Coyle reunited with the rest of Girls Aloud for their tenth-anniversary celebration in November 2012. A new track, “Something New,” was released by the band on November 18, 2012, which served as the official charity single for the Children in Need organization. Ten, the group’s second greatest hits compilation, was published on November 26, 2012, by EMI Music Publishing.

In February, Coyle and the rest of the band embarked on the Ten: The Hits Tour. In March 2013, the group announced that they would be disbanding following the conclusion of their tour. Coyle stated on September 16, 2014, that she had begun working with long-time partner Brian Higgins on a new project.

As of March 2015, Coyle had revealed the specifics of her second studio album, claiming that she hoped to sign with a major label and that the sound is “similar” to that of London Grammar. Later that year, Nadine collaborated with Shane Filan of the band Westlife on a duet for his album Right Here, which was released later that year.

They performed the track, named “I Could Be,” on that year’s Children in Need telethon, which was broadcast worldwide. In May 2018, Coyle will embark on a seven-city tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland. The tour was canceled without rescheduling in April 2018, less than a month before it was scheduled to begin, with Coyle noting that it was becoming “difficult to achieve” what they had hoped to do and that the cancellation was “certainly a lesson” for her and the other members.

Coyle returned to the music industry in 2019 with her summer song “Fool for Love,” which was produced by Brian Higgins of the Xenomania group. In December of that year, Coyle stated that she will be releasing a new song titled “All That I Know” in 2020, which would be the first time she has done so.
