Mrunal Thakur Wiki/Bio
Mrunal Thakur was born on 1 August 1992, in Nagpur, Maharastra, India. Her age is 28 years old. She went to Kishinchand Chellaram College, Mumbai, to earn a degree in journalism after completing her high school studies. Mrunal was born into a family of Marathi citizens. She is the daughter of an assistant general manager at Union Bank of India, Udaysing B Thakur. She has two siblings an older sister, Lochan Thakur, a makeup artist, and Mandar Thakur, a younger brother.

While attending college, Thakur played the lead role of Gauri Bhosle opposite Manit Joura in the Mujhse Kuchh Kehti Star Plus series… Khamoshiyaan Hai. From 2012-13, the programme aired. Thakur debuted later in 2013 in an episodic cameo in the crime thriller Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek-Arjun, in which she played a reporter named Sakshi Anand.
Career
In February 2014, Thakur signed Kumkum Bhagya, a soap opera for Zee TV, for which she started filming the following month. The film, starring Sriti Jha, Shabir Ahluwalia, Arjit Taneja, and Supriya Shukla, began airing on April 15, and saw Thakur portray Bulbul Arora, a woman who helps her mother (played by Shukla) run a marriage hall along with her elder sister (played by Jha). The film received positive feedback from critics in critical response. In January 2016, Thakur left the show. She then performed a dance in a special episode of SauBhagyalaxmi from &TV, and took a television retirement.
In 2016, Thakur started working on the foreign film Love Sonia, which was released after numerous delays in September 2018 and starred her in the titular role of a rural girl who brings global sex trafficking to light. Thakur stayed at a brothel outside Kolkata to learn prostitutes’ body language for training. At the box office, the film flopped.
Later in 2019, in the web series Baahubali: Before the Beginning, a Netflix distribution and spin-off of the blockbuster Baahubali franchise, Thakur starred as the fictional character Sivagami. She started the next decade and year 2020 with her second Netflix venture, the anthology horror film Ghost Stories, featuring four parts.
Thakur has finished filming for the 2021 sports dramas Jersey opposite Shahid Kapoor and Toofan opposite Farhan Akhtar, and will soon begin shooting for the multi-star comedy Aankh Micholi with Abhimanyu Dassani and Paresh Rawal, a post she will play the female lead opposite Ishaan Khatter in the war action movie Pippa.
