Mindy Kaling Wiki/Bio
Mindy Kaling was an American actress, comedian, and author recognised for her unusual humour, which she displayed in ventures such as the television sitcom The Mindy Project (2012–17). Kaling was born in the United States to Indian immigrants. Her father, an architect, and mother, an obstetrician-gynecologist, met in a Nigerian hospital where they both worked, and they immigrated to the United States in 1979. Kaling grew up watching sketch comedies like In Living Color and Saturday Night Live on television.
She majored in theatre at Dartmouth College (B.A., 2001) and was a member of the all-female a capella group Rockapellas as well as the campus improv troupe the Dog Day Players.
