La Fee Wiki/Bio

In the town of Stolberg in the region of Büsbach, Klein was born to a family of farmers. Despite the fact that her father Bernd Klein is of German descent, her mother, Keriakoulla, is of Greek descent. ‘She’s the youngest of two children,’ her mother says. Andreas, her older brother, is a good friend of hers. She began sending out sample cassettes to television shows when she was nine years old, and as a result, she was invited to appear on three of them.

Kiddy Contest, an Austrian children’s television singing competition, invited her to perform Handy, a parody of Barry Manilow’s Mandy, in September 2004 when she was thirteen years old. She won the competition. It was during this television performance that she was spotted by German music producer Bob Arntz, who signed her to a recording contract.

After that, she began working on her debut album. In addition to her professional name, Christina Klein is also known by her stage name LaFee. She is a German singer and actress who has sold more than one million records worldwide. Mainland Europe, and notably German-speaking countries, are where she is most well-known. Since 2006, LaFee has recorded four studio albums, three of which have been with her band, the Black Keys.

They were all successful in making it onto the German charts. Both the first album and the follow-up album, Jetzt erst Recht (2007), debuted at the top of the album charts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and were certified platinum in Germany. The first single from LaFee’s debut album, LaFee, was released in 2006 and was titled Virus. Her career has been encouraged by the magazine Bravo and the music channel VIVA since she first began performing professionally.

Virus peaked at number fourteen on both the German and Austrian singles charts, while her second single, Prinzesschen (Little Princess), peaked at number eleven on the German singles chart. German and Austrian charts also featured the songs Was ist das (What is that) and Mitternacht (Midnight), which were both released in 2008. Her second studio album, Jetzt erst Richtig (Now more than ever), was published on July 6, 2007, and the album’s lead song, Heul doch (Keep crying), was released the following year.

Shut Up was the title of her third studio album, which was released shortly after Heul doch was translated into English. The song made it into the top ten of the German charts. It debuted at No. 94 on the Italian albums chart and at No. 79 on the French albums chart with the release of “Jetzt erst Recht.”

Platinum in Germany and Gold in Austria was awarded to the album. From November 2006 through the spring of 2007, she made her television debut in Nina’s Welt, which aired on the Discovery Channel. Later, she appeared on the German daily soap Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten, where she remained for a while (Good times, bad times).

Her most famous performance took place on New Year’s Eve 2006 at the Brandenburg Gate, where she performed in front of more than one million people. Klein performed at the Brandenburg Gate as part of the open-air activities on August 25, 2007, in front of an audience of 119,000 spectators. The second single, Beweg Dein Arsch (Move your ass), peaked at No. 21 on the German singles chart and was certified gold. We’re bin ich (Who am I) was released on November 16, 2007, and it peaked at No.41 on the Austrian singles chart in its first week of release.

Her other awards include the Echo Award for Best Female Singer, the Bravo Gold Otto Award for Best Pop Female Singer, and the Jetix Kids’ Award for Best Solo Act. On November 27, 2008, the album was re-released as a Bravo special edition with bonus songs, which was distributed only through Bravo. Shut Up, her first English-language studio album was released in 2008.

It contains songs from the albums LaFee and Jetzt erst recht in both English and German. Heul Doch’s debut hit, Shut Up, is an English translation of the song. Close Your Mouth reached number 93 on the German singles chart, making it the artist’s lowest chart appearance to that point. The album, which sold more than 100,000 copies at the time, was, however, considered to be LaFee’s poorest work.

According to the German albums chart, it peaked at No. 21 and reached No. 31 on the Austrian albums chart, respectively. The song Shut up was first played on May 30, 2008, during the music festival The Dome, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. ‘Ring Frei (Clear the ring),’ the first single from LaFee’s fourth studio album Ring Frei, was released on November 21, 2008, and peaked at number 22 in the German singles chart. When Ring Frei was published in Germany on February 2, 2009, it climbed to number 6 on the German albums chart, number 21 on the Swiss albums list, and number 5 on the Austrian albums chart, all in the same week.

The album has also achieved gold status in Austria, and it has sold more than 100,000 copies in total around the world. In 2009, she embarked on a three-country tour of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Following the tour’s promotion, she took a little hiatus for the first time in her career.

There was no weave visible when it first appeared. Best Of – LaFee, LaFee’s first greatest hits collection, was published in November 2009 and is available on iTunes. Both a day edition and a night edition of the record are available; the day edition includes one CD while the night edition includes two CDs. The record was a complete and utter flop. One of the songs on the compilation, Der Regen fällt, was re-recorded and released as the lead single. The song was originally featured on her second studio album, Jetzt erst Recht.

Career

Despite this, the song only reached position 94 on the German singles chart. In Austria and Switzerland, it was not included in the top ten songs ranking. LaFee has parted ways with her manager, Bob Arntz. Her musicians left the group in December 2009, announcing on their respective websites that they were forming a new project as a result of their different musical perspectives. Jörg Fischer is now in charge of her production live performance of Christina’s new single Ich bin (I Am) was broadcast on the German television show The Dome on June 4, 2011.

In addition, EMI has said on its official website that the new album Frei will be released on July 1, 2011, which corresponds to the release date of the previous album. She stated in an interview with the German magazine Bild that she was really excited about her new album because she had changed a great deal since her previous release.

LaFee went on to describe her motivations for taking this hiatus, stating that she was tired of constantly being away from home and her friends, among other things. She was only a teenager when she began her professional career, and she had grown up so quickly that she didn’t have time to consider whether she had missed anything.

She was constantly being told what to do and didn’t have the freedom to be herself, not to mention all of the rumors that had circulated between her and her lovers. She claimed that she couldn’t think about anything else except sleeping for several days. So she had parted ways with her previous team, her old band, and her old manager, and she had requested that her record label modify her contract, which she was fortunate in that they accepted.

At long last, she indicated that she is now ready to return with new songs (she created three songs by herself and co-authored two others), themes that are more personal to her, such as love and growing up, and with a new, more mature appearance. LaFee was a music sponsor for the KiKa show Dein Song from the beginning of March 2012 to the conclusion of the month. She wrote the title song for the film “Hanni & Nanni 2,” which was inspired by her song “Zeig Dich!” On May 11, 2012, it was made available as a single. No position in the charts was achieved by the song.

He made an appearance in the German edition of the men’s magazine Playboy in September of that year. The track “Flip Flop (Can’t help Me)” was released in collaboration with Johnny Kelvin. This was available as a free download on the website of “Playboy” in September 2012. Visitors to the Site who were among the first 10,000 to do so were given the opportunity to download this 1-Track File for free.

From mid-November to late December 2012, LaFee appeared in the Essen production of “Vom Geist der Weihnacht” (A Christmas Carol), in which she performed the roles of Angel and Belle. From October 22, 2014, to October 23, 2017, she starred as Iva Lukowski in the RTL soap opera Alles was zählt, which ran from October 22, 2014, to October 23, 2017.

Her biography Frei, which she co-wrote with German author Anne van Straelen, was published on November 14, 2014, and is available on Amazon. As of 2015, a total of eight new songs have been released, all of which were featured in the television series Alles was zählt, in which she played the role of “Iva Lukowski.”

Among them was the song “Was bleibt,” which allowed LaFee to reach the top of the German singles charts for the first time in four years in March 2015 with the help of a remix. In July 2020, it was stated on LaFee’s Instagram account that she had returned to the recording studio with producer Christian Geller, which she had done previously.

It was published on February 26, 2021, the single “(Ich bin ein) Material Girl,” which was a cover version of Madonna’s Material Girl. Back to the Future is the title of her fifth studio album, which was originally scheduled for release in May 2021 but was later postponed until August. It will be marketed by the music company Telamo, which specializes in Schlager and folk music, and will be released in August 2021.

On February 27, LaFee had her first official television appearance in ten years, appearing in the ARD show Schlagerchampions. The release of the second single, “Halt mich fest,” took place on April 30. It is a cover version of the a-ha song Take On Me in the German language. The music video for it, which is based on the original video, was released on YouTube the same day as the song.

Back to the Future, their fifth studio album was released on August 20, 2021, marking the band’s first studio album release in more than ten years. Merchandise (poster, autograph card) and an additional CD, Zurück in die Vergangenheit (Back to the Past), are included in the limited fan box. Zurück in die Vergangenheit (Back to the Past) comprises older songs by LaFee in a new sound with modified lyrics.

Virus, Prinzesschen, and Heul doch were among those targeted, and it was with Virus that all insults were recast. With the album, LaFee was able to return to the top 10 of the album rankings (at number 7) for the first time in 12 years. In January 2009, Ring Frei reached the sixth position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
