Kodak Black Wiki/Bio

Kodak Black is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Pompano Beach, Florida. “Roll in Peace,” “Tunnel Vision,” and “No Flockin” are among his best-known songs. Brutal Youngnz and The Kolyons were both formed by Kodak Black when he was just 12 years old. His first mixtape has been distributed to the public. He released ‘Project Baby’ in December 2013 and ‘Heart of the Projects,’ his second mixtape, in December 2014.

Drake became more well-known after posting a video of himself dancing to the song “Skrt” by Kodak Black. Fortunately, Atlantic Records came calling the following year and offered him a deal. Lockjaw, a song he co-wrote with French Montana, was also a Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart-topper. Lil B.I.G. Pac has released mixtapes such as ‘Project Baby 2′, ‘F.E.M.A.’ and ‘Heart Break Kodak’ throughout the past few years. His two studio albums, 2017’s Painting Pictures and 2018’s Dying to Live, were both released in 2017. With Offset, Painting Pictures, Lil Uzi Vert, and Lil Pump he has also worked. Kodak appears to have gone unrecognized or unappreciated as of yet.

KODAK BLACK’s birth date is 11 June 1997 in Pompano Beach, Florida. He was born to Haitian immigrant parents. After his father abandoned the family shortly after his birth, Kodak was raised by a single mother. A few time after his father left, Kodak and his mother relocated to a nearby housing society in Golden Acres, which was home to numerous Haitian immigrants as well.

Octave became caught in the anti-social elements of the area, which was not perfect by any means. He began selling narcotics and engaging in minor criminal activities as a child. When it came to academics, he was unmotivated and had a poor attendance record. A lot of school conflicts resulted in him being expelled many times, as well. He didn’t care about school; he wanted to be a rapper, therefore school didn’t matter to him. He spent a lot of time reading to improve his English skills.  Octave stated he had two options: sell drugs under coercion or rap through his difficult times.

To his surprise, he came to enjoy recording studios as he began to visit them more frequently. In spite of this, he continued to engage in criminal activity and was imprisoned multiple times. The first time he was taken into custody was when he was 15 years old for a serious crime. It seemed like his ambitions of becoming a rapper were over, but one of his producers stepped in and saved the day.

Obviously, he was aware of the young man’s potential as a valuable employee. This was a watershed point in Octave’s career. “J-Black” became his stage name and he began to focus on his music as an art form. He became a member of Brutal Youngnz, a small-time local rap group, when he was just 12 years old. He started a new band, ‘The Kolyons,’ when the original band broke up. ‘Project Baby,’ Kodak’s debut mixtape, was released in December of that year.

As a result, Kodak got a lot of attention in the local nightclubs. Over the next two years, he released ‘Heart of the Projects’ and ‘Institution,’ his next two mixtapes. It didn’t take long for him to get noticed, despite the fact that people in his hometown liked his music. In October of 2015, Drake danced to the song “Skrt” by Kodak Black. Kodak’s career was changed forever at this moment. When his song became popular, the amount of people searching for it on Google went through the roof. After noticing Kodak’s burgeoning star, ‘Atlantic Records’ made an offer to sign him. Kodak began its ‘Parental Advisory Tour’ in May of that year. However, he was unable to attend the event due to prior commitments.

‘Lockjaw,’ the first track from French Montana’s collaboration with Kodak, was released in May 2016 and quickly became a mainstream hit. The song appeared on a number of hip-hop and R&B music charts. In August 2016, his single “Skrt” was included on several R&B and hip-hop charts. ‘Lil B.I.G. Pac,’ his fourth mixtape, was released a few months later, capitalizing on his burgeoning fame. The mixtape was released by Atlantic Records. Billboard ranked his debut album at number one.

‘XXL’ magazine included him in its list of the “2016 Freshman Class.” However, a social media issue tarnished the success. The rapper was caught on camera rhyming about a black woman and sharing the video on social media. According to the words, she was less beautiful than a white woman. In the beginning of 2017, Kodak released a single titled “Tunnel Vision.” The song was frequently at the top of American music charts. It debuted at number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at number six. This was a significant achievement for Kodak at the time, given his inexperience as an artist.

His first studio album, “Painting Pictures,” was released on March 31, 2017, and it debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 Chart. On August 18th, 2017, he released “Project Baby 2,” his second mixtape, followed by “Project Baby 2: All Grown Up,” his third mixtape.

After releasing his new mixtape “Heart Break Kodak” on Valentine’s Day, Kodak’s second studio album “Dying to Live” debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart for a week, with the singles “Zeze” and “Calling My Spirit” reaching the top two and bottom forty-six spots, respectively. In collaboration with Mike Smiff and WizDaWizard, he released “Vultures Cry 2” on May 12, 2020. He was born in Pompano Beach, Florida, the son of Haitian immigrants. Black was raised mostly by his mother, Marcelene Octave, in the Golden Acres public housing project because his mother and father divorced. Black took to robbery to supplement his family’s income because his father was unable to do so.

Career

In 2016, Jayda Cheaves, an Instagram sensation with over 4.1 million followers, began dating Kodak, a hip-hop artist. Jayda gave birth to a child with rapper Lil Baby in February 2019 after they split up in the middle of 2017.

Hip-Hop Vibe claims that Kodak’s Twitter followers wanted him to be with @1CaliParadise, also known as “Cali.” That she had cheated on him, he alleged, even sending him Kodak photographs of her with another man. Cali responded and defended herself, claiming that Kodak had slept with other women while they were together.

King Khalid Octave, a 4-year-old son of Kodak Black, is the rapper’s child. King Khalid Octave was born on March 13th, 2014.  It took a long time for Kodak Black to discover his son. For the first year of their son’s life, Jammiah Broomfield, his mother, kept a low profile. Since the birth of their son, King Khalid, Kodak Black and Jammiah have been fighting for custody. Dieuson Octave alias Kodak Black sued his ex-partner Jammiah and a man named Tavon Jajuan Session, who could be Jammiah’s boyfriend, to seek temporary custody of his child.

As a result of a request for “temporary time sharing and other relief,” Kodak Black was granted greater access to the custody of his son King Khalid. However, the contents of the denial were lacking, and it could be linked to Kodak’s ongoing criminal proceedings

Jammiah Broomfield, the mother of Kodak Black’s child, Jammiah, has been accused of treating her son Khalid like an ATM. Seeing his son without being bothered by his ex-demands partner’s for more money violated Kodak’s right to quality time with his child.

It has also been claimed that Jammiah only enables Bill K Kapri to see his son if he pays her for it. At such a young age, King Khalid must face so much adversity. We feel sorry for him.

Kodak hasn’t spoken about any of these previous relationships. Less than a week after Nipsey Hussle’s murder, Kodak announced his intention to date Lauren London, the mother of Nipsey Hussle’s child.

T.I. and the Game both criticized him for referring to Lauren as “a full widow” when he first said he was going to pursue her romantically.. After being scolded for his behavior, he has now made an effort to apologise to London. There were a lot of people in hip-hop, particularly T.I., who were insulted by Kodak’s initial words. The video was posted on Instagram in January 2017 and showed him with several other guys in a hotel room while a single woman performed oral sex on the males in the video.

According to him, light-skinned women are preferable to dark-skinned women on Instagram. Aside from this, he claimed that lighter-skinned women are simpler to deceive and that he dislikes the color of his own skin.

Throughout his career, Kodak Black has had a number of run-ins with the law; in 2018, he was sentenced to a year in prison but was released after serving just seven months of that time. He has also served time in a juvenile detention facility. President Donald Trump showed mercy to Black, who had been condemned to almost four years in prison for weapons possession when he arrested him in 2019. In his car was marijuana and a Glock, which he tried to smuggle into the United States from Canada. Several people, including Kodak, were allegedly arrested by customs authorities on Wednesday, and Kodak was taken into custody on allegations of illegal possession of a handgun and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. In exchange for a $20,000 cash bond, Kodak Black was released. On April 24, 2019, the FBI raided his tour bus and found guns. This leads to 46 months in prison for him.
