‘Kevin Steen’ was born on May 7th, 1984, in St. Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec. At the age of 14, Steen decided to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a professional wrestler by joining a wrestling organisation. Wrestling was the ultimate dream for Steen, who had previously competed in a variety of other sports, including soccer and baseball. He used to mimic everything he saw and heard on WWE Monday Night Raw. Owens began wrestling training at the age of 14 with Serge Jodoin, a Quebec-based wrestler.
