Philadelphia-born In addition to being a member of the legendary duo Hall & Oates, Daryl Hall is also known for his solo work, which includes the singles, “Maneater,” “Rich Girl,” and the song, “I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do)” Hall went to Temple University in Philadelphia, where he met his future business partner John Oates while there.
