Chase Rice Wiki/Bio

Chase Rice is a country music singer and songwriter from the United States, as well as a reality television star. Before transferring to the NFL, Rice also was a former university football player for the University of North Carolina and a former member of the pit crew of Hendrick Motorsport. He collaborated with Florida Georgia Line on the diamond-certified track “Cruise,” which was performed by the group.

It was on October 15, 2013, that he released the EP Ready Set Roll, which included the track “Ready Set Roll.” His full-length album Ignite the Night, which includes the song “Ready Set Roll,” was released on August 19, 2014, and is available on iTunes. On 27 August 2014, Ignite the Night was released and debuted at the top of the Top Country Billboard Album list.

He achieved his first number-one hit on country radio with “Eyes on You,” which peaked at number one on the country radio chart in 2019. When he competed on Survivor: Nicaragua in 2010, he initially gained widespread attention, finishing as the runner-up to Jud “Fabio” Birza. Rice was raised on a farm in Asheville, North Carolina, after being born in Florida.

Despite his attendance at AC Reynolds High School and his participation on the football team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he was unable to pursue a professional football career due to an injury. Rice was chosen to join the Hendrick Motorsports pit crew as the rear tire carrier for Ryan Newman’s Nationwide Series vehicle after graduating from the University of North Carolina.

He also worked on Jimmie Johnson’s Sprint Cup Series car and was a member of the Lowe’s squad that won two titles. Chase Rice is a North Caroline country singer and songwriter, who grew up and listened to Garth Brooks and other actors who reworked and updated country music in the 1990s in something more popular.

For most of his time and energy during high school and college, Rice dedicated himself to sports, most notably as a linebacker for the University of North Carolina football team. He eventually had to retire from football due to an injury, and it was around this time that he decided to take up the guitar seriously and start writing songs.

After graduating from college, Rice accepted a position as a member of the NASCAR Hendrick Motorsports pit crew, where he spent his evenings performing in Charlotte’s pubs and traveling to Nashville on weekends to participate in songwriter nights.

Rice initially came to public attention in 2010, when he competed on the reality television show Survivor: Nicaragua, where he ultimately ended in second place. In 2011, he released a six-song EP titled Country as Me, which was followed up by the full-length Dirt Road Communion the following year.

It was a writing opportunity for Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise,” which was published in mid-2012 and spent more than a year in heavy rotation, reaching the top of the country charts for several weeks and reaching number four on the overall list, that truly catapulted his career ahead.

Rice signed his debut on the major label Ignite the Night with Columbia Nashville in August 2014. The album debuted on the country charts as number one and propelled one hit “Ready Set Roll” to the top five in the country chart.

Rice has also released a number of singles on the country charts, including “Ready Set Roll.” Rice’s next single, “Gonna Wanna Tonight,” reached the country top ten in 2014, and he spent the next year working on a new album. The first song to emerge from these sessions was “Whisper,” which was released in early 2016.

Rice’s fourth studio album, Lambs & Lions, was released in November 2017 after a series of setbacks, including a label transition from Columbia to Broken Bow Records and a change in management. It debuted at number six on the Billboard Top Country Albums list in its first week of release.

Lambs & Lions was released in a special deluxe edition in 2019. Rice participated as a guest on the reality television show The Bachelor in the same year, performing a private concert for bachelor Peter Weber and his girlfriend, Victoria Fuller, whom Rice had previously dated.

Rice has since moved on from the show. The drama-filled episode aired in January 2020, just as the singer was releasing his next project, The Album, Pt. 1, which was the subject of the show. The Album, Pt. 2 was released later that year, and it was followed by the Florida Georgia Line collaboration “Drinkin’ Beer.

Talkin’ God. Amen,” which was released the following year. \ Rice was chosen to be a cast member of the reality television show Survivor: Nicaragua, which airs on Discovery Channel. A college friend of his who had a link with CBS was able to assist him in getting his application accepted by the network, according to him.

Rice was originally a member of the La Flor tribe, which was comprised of younger contenders at the time. On the tribe, he got quickly drawn to Brenda Lowe, a fellow contestant who became aware of his desire and utilized it to her advantage, recruiting him and several other contestants to join an alliance.

However, after La Flor won three of the first four tribal immunity challenges, the tribes were merged, and Rice was assigned to the new version of the original “older participants” tribe, Espada, while Lowe was sent to the new version of the La Flor tribe, which he remained on.

Finally, Rice and Lowe both got it to the combined group Libertad, where their partnership was instrumental in the eliminations of Alina Wilson and Marty Piombo, before turning on Lowe and removing her as a danger. The alliance continued to operate under the leadership of new leader Matthew “Sash” Lenahan after Lowe was ousted from power.

Career

Holly Hoffman despite the fact that Bright and Hoffman were also members of the alliance. A bid by the alliance to eliminate Jud “Fabio” Birza as a potential threat to the jury was unsuccessful, as Birza won the last three immunity challenges and therefore avoided elimination.

Rice had an outstanding performance in the post-merge tasks, being a member of the winning team in two of the three team-oriented incentives and taking home the final two solo prizes. Rice eventually made it to the final three, where he competed against Lenahan and Birza for a chance to win the $1 million prize for being the “Sole Survivor.”

Rice said in his testimony before the jury that he was being honest about his approach to the game, but he was chastised for making rash decisions and being indecisive at times, as well as for being viewed as a follower under both Lowe and Lenahan, according to the evidence presented. The jury ultimately chose Birza over Rice, despite the fact that both Rice and Lenahan attempted to accuse Birza of being unaware of what was going on in the competition.

Rice performed his hit “Buzz Back” on the nationally televised reunion show, which was broadcast nationwide. The reality stardom he gained from the show, he claims, did not help propel his country music career; rather, he cited it as an important life event that was more valuable than money and that helped him put his life in perspective.

He also appeared on the show with his wife, who also appeared on the show. In July 2012, he inked a representation agreement with Creative Artists Agency. He was a co-writer on Florida Georgia Line’s hit song “Cruise,” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Ready Set Roll, a six-song EP featuring the title tune, was released in October 2013 by the artist. The physical version of the album, which contained the bonus track “Jack Daniel’s and Jesus,” was released in November 2013 and can be purchased here.

The official “Ready Set Roll” music video premiered exclusively on CMT on January 29, 2014, and has since gone viral. The following day, the video was made available on VEVO. In March 2014, he formed a distribution partnership with Columbia Records for the release of “Ready Set Roll.”

Rice unveiled the album cover, release date, and album sequencing for Ignite the Night on June 30, 2014, as well as the album tracklisting. The full-length album, which contained the Platinum-certified hit “Ready Set Roll,” was released on August 19, 2014, and can be purchased here.

Rice released the single “Whisper” in February 2016, with the intention of using it as the lead single from a planned album. After only three weeks on the Country Airplay chart, the song failed to garner any traction on the radio, peaking at number 56 on the week of April 23, 2016, after only three weeks on the Country Airplay chart.

It is currently Rice’s lowest charting single to date, trailing only How She Rolls, which peaked at number 55 in 2013 and was never supported by a major label or a major label endorsement. Rice responded to his fans’ disappointment with the single by writing, “If you have listened to my music for years and want to hear more depth and meaning.

I very much appreciate you, too, and your desires will also be fulfilled on this album (and truthfully, that was my goal on previous albums with songs like “Carolina Can” and “Every Song I Sing.”) He went on to say that Garth Brooks and Kenny Chesney were two of his musical influences. In the following months, Rice released the single “Everybody We Know Does,” which was released to country radio on June 24, 2016.

Rice departed Columbia Records in 2017 when his single “Everybody We Know Does” failed to chart in the top 25. The following year, he signed with Broken Bow Records. The lead track from Rice’s first album with BBR, “Three Chords and the Truth,” was released to country radio as the album’s first official single.

Breaking Bow Records/BMG has released Rice’s debut album, Lambs & Lions, which is also the first Broken Bow Records/BMG release since the company was acquired by BMG. The novel Lambs & Lions was published on November 17, 2017.

After two weeks at the top of the country radio charts, Rice’s single “Eyes On You” scored his first country radio number one on May 6, 2019. On July 1, 2019, he released the single “Lonely If You Are,” which was the follow-up to the previous single.

A private concert for bachelor Peter Weber and his date, Victoria Fuller, was the setting for Rice’s appearance on the fourth episode of season 24 of The Bachelor. The concert took place at Cedar Point, in Sandusky, Ohio. Fuller then disclosed that she had previously been in a relationship with Rice.

On June 27, 2020, Rice performed at the Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary in Petros, Tennessee, where many of the audience members chose to disregard safety precautions that were recommended to prevent the spread and catching of COVID.

Fans and members of the music industry expressed their displeasure with the concert’s outcome. Rice responded to the criticism with the following statement: “If it were up to me, I wouldn’t cancel a single show, but that’s not the case.

Personally, I choose not to live in fear, especially when it comes to something I have no actual control over.” Rice is set to release a song in November 2020 “Beer is being consumed. On May 28, 2021, it was released as the first single from Rice’s fifth studio album, The Album, which is set to be published on May 28, 2021.
