Austin Mahone has the ideal ingredients for a modern fairytale, starting from a gifted nobody to a YouTube wonder and eventually a teen pop sensation. A young man from La Vernia, a city with neither bowling lanes or cinema halls, has challenged his lowly beginnings and, through his talent, catapulted itself into international prominence. Sounds unlikely, doesn’t it? But if you’re as unbelievably talented as this young man is, few things seem unlikely.
Today, Mahone is one of the teen pop artists most popular, followed by large hordes of fans and paparazzi. Take a peek at his incredible rise into success as he prepares to release his first full-length album. Michele Mahone says that music was always the love of her son, and the young Mahone learned guitar, drums and keyboards on its own fast.
In 2010, Mahone became an ardent YouTuber, and via several entertaining sketches and amazing coverages of popular songs he rapidly gained a fan base. The moment was the folly of his successful version for Justin Bieber’s ‘Mistletoe,’ which shot him in the light.
Some praised him as next Bieber, and even before he reached his record deal, Mahone was on the “Billboard Social 50” on the No 38 – a diagram that rates musical artists on social networking sites on the basis of their popularity.The increasing popularity, however, has its consequences.

In 2012, Mahone published their debut single ’11:11′ on iTunes, and on the ‘Billboard Heatseekers’ music list the song reached No.19. Meanwhile, the flourishing fan base had reached millions on all social platforms, and it wasn’t until record companies were labelled.
Mahone signed a ‘Chase/ Universal Republic Records’ pact in mid-2012 and released his second song, ‘Say Somethin.’ The song was a flat hit, with the teenagers immediately charting on the Billboard Pop Songs Chart at No. 34. The best was yet to come – for if the first few years of a steadily peak career had been, it was the third year that consolidated this new stardom.
There wasn’t the juggernaut stopping. In the same year Mahone earned “Artist To Watch For” Award for his popular single, “What About Love” at the MTV Video Music Awards. Mahone started the first headline tour of his career in October 2013, MTV’s Artist To Watch Tour.
Career
In May 2014, Mahone released his second EP, The Secret, which debuted on the ‘Billboard 200’ on an astounding No. 5. His last single, ‘Dirty Work’ was a home run and since then, Mahone has released a mixtape and worked with the Jump Smokers and Pia Mia.
So, how about the true Austin Mahone? Is he just another stupid star with a tendency to dispute and deviance? Well, you are in great disappointment if your notion of worship includes brooding pop idols with their drug-addled history and stormy relationships. Mahone isn’t your self-destructive, teenager cardiac stroke.
Maybe, the absence of a parent instilled a sense of duty at such an early age. Could Austin be obliged to ‘take up’ rather than make too many silly mistakes, unlike most of his fellow workers.
“I felt a lot of pressure on me and it was like, all right, I definitely have to go tough now. “I need to be the householder and make the money and provide for my family,” Mahone explains, in a voice which has still to shed its boyhood.So this is not the sort of star that makes headlines for his public meltdowns and hideous breakdowns.
And as if to emphasise this, Mahone claims that both his former lady loves, Camila Cabello and Becky G, are really good in words. There have, of course, been reports of the collapse, but if it’s true, Becky’s appearance at his 2015 mixtape, “This Is Not The Album,” is the enigma left to solve by the tattlers.
It has been half a decade since the first storm of ‘Mahoneism’ took the world. So, what about the superstar next? Would there be an album anytime soon with two EPs and several Singles and Tours to his credit? According to Austin, a full-length album is not long away and ‘Muhammads’ alone should be ample cause for rejoicing worldwide.
